Review of Chasing Mavericks (2012) by Marty A — 31 Oct 2012
I know many may pan it, but I loved this movie. This is a great father son story, even if it does not fit your view of what a father and son should or can be. Frosty is a life lesson fountain and the dialogue can be a bit predictable.
.. This movie has heart. I can identify both with Jay and with Frosty. I have a wonderful son and I like to think that is at least in part a credit to how I taught him lessons in life. Jay was a great kid with a single minded focus to chase a dream.
