Review of Chasing Mavericks (2012) by Jacob B — 25 Nov 2017
A script that's no different from any other sports movies attempt to cause a deterioration in quality but its the performances from Gerard Butler and the guy playing the real-life surfer that make Chasing Mavericks the type of movie that says "the critics are wrong about this one" I also found the ending to be touching as it pays a tribute to a surfer who always had a great sense of determination.
It's also the type of movie whose title can be used as a joke as soon as you discover this movie's existence. Not really sure what that had to do with this quick and brief review but if you don't care about the dramatisation of true events, maybe the breathtakingly lovely waves will come to your liking.
Since this review is short, I'm gonna end this review here with no proper conclusion.
