2012 was indeed a fantastic year for documentaries. Chasing Ice is layered with stunning photography and powerful images. Former National Geographic photographer James Balog's environmental mission of preserving the glaciers is captured with power, amazement and a growing sense of despair.
A necessary film for any burgeoning environmentalists or climate change naysayers. First time rating: 9.6/10.
