Kevin Smith is one of the most overrated auteurs in Hollywood. It baffles me when people say "this is how real people talk" - are you kidding me? The dialogue is so contrived it's embarrassing.
His usual off comic timing, thinly veiled rants, and unrealistic dialogue are all here. Almost as unwatchable as Clerks. At least Clerks II and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back were sometimes entertaining.
