Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Whereismymind — 21 Aug 2016

This movie is funny as hell and very thought provoking. The situations on this film can seem a little absurd if someone simply explains them but they are portrayed in such a way that they are extremely relatable.

In general the movie comes out as a very unusual and still realistic take on themes of sex and love, with a brilliant script and real performances that work in both humour and drama. The scene on which Kevin Smith gives his speech as Silent Bob has to be one of my favourite moments in film.
