Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Andrew L — 30 May 2013
This is an alright movie. While I am not a Kevin Smith fan, I can see that he always has something to say in his movies, even around all of the language and sexual related humor. Here, Kevin Smith challenges the ideas one may have about what is right and how things are "supposed to be.
" The idea is presented at the forefront and it continually sticks throughout the movie. Add this to the good performance that Ben Affleck presents and you have a message that will get across. The rest of the actors were alright.
Definitely worth it to watch.
