I usually like to start with what sucked. The FX shots were cheap, the cinematography was TVish, and the sound editor needed to be shot in the knees for recording everyone at a whisper...those things being said, Hanks is smooth and charming, Hoffman gives my favorite performance of his, and the story is interesting and fun to follow.
I greatly enjoyed Charlie Wilson's War.
