Review of Charlie Wilson's War (2007) by Nash A — 02 Jun 2012
Charlie Wilson's War has a powerful message, and it displays it across to audiences quite well. Tom Hanks, as usual, does a wonderful playing Charles Wilson, a charismitic politician who likes a good time.
Julia Roberts does a decent job, but she is ultimately overshadowed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman's performance. Hoffman is both funny and entertaining, and really steals the show. Ultimately, this is a good and funny movie with a message and interesting story.
