1st Viewing:
Because of it's aimless and thematically bipolar script which plays out like a sappy acid trip, you're never really sure where "Charlie Countryman" is going, but at least it looks good trying to get there.
2nd Viewing:
While the above still pretty much stays the same, Shia LaBeouf's performance is top notch and a step in the right direction for his career.
