So, back at Edwards Jr High, they would show this on our TV's in the lunchroom. I had not seen it, didn't watch it much, but then at some point, I rented the whole movie.
Wow.
Not only did I love the running part (being a runner once...) but the entire religious issue was fascinating to me. I love the 400M comeback, I love the music, and yeah, I love the slow motion running, and I don't care who tries to make fun of it.
I watch the movie every year. Maybe missed a few, but it is that good.
