Ambitious? Yes, but that's all it is. The ambition of its theme.

And it's not even that its seemingly decent cast works so pitifully, because frankly it's more than clear that all of them only showed up for their checks, the problem is that this is a lazy production that pretends to work with so little and expects an impressionable audience to think that's enough.
