Review of Chapter 27 (2007) by Brian S — 09 Jun 2009
Certainly an interesting look at one of recent memory's more notorious assassins, but I thought it lacked a certain something. Leto gives a fine performance, although I can't say much for the supporting cast.
the pacing was quite slow, even for an under-90 minute film. there wasn't much action, and the whole "psychological thriller" approach was just barely evident over all the subtlety and creepy voice-overs.
not really a bad film overall, it just smacks too much of the indie film vibe.
