Review of Chapter 27 (2007) by David W — 24 Dec 2009

First and foremost, I have to applaud Jared Leto. 1. for putting on 60 pounds to play the part of Mark David Chapman, & 2. for playing mark David Chapman.

He genuinely creeped me out in this movie. I felt like I was bearing witness to the actual event. I see that the movie didn't get rave reviews, but Leto did a hell of a job. I believed he was this confused, deranged individual.

I think a few of the major turn-offs were Lindsay Lohan & the just the subject matter. One has to believe that this was a difficult movie to get made. I am glad that I watched it, but will probably never bother to watch again. For me, that is saying a lot.
