Review of Chappie (2015) by George M — 24 Aug 2015

Chappie is a stupid robot movie that provides nothing new to the robot movies. I actually liked the first act of the movie, it showed us how robots were working with the police very well until one of these robots gets hit hard in a routine day and is down to be recycled and destroyed but his creator Deon decides that he wants to try out his new intelligence A.

I. chip in this damaged unit wanting to create the first robot with human feelings and will on its own. That idea looked very intresting to me and I was watching the movie with excitement but once Deon was kidnapped by the thugs the movie started to suck.

What we see next was that those thugs wanted to train Chappie to do all the dirty works for them, I didin't like that at all, the way that they treated Chappie and the way that Chappie acted like a stupid thug robot is very minus for me.

The performances are terrible especially of the gang, even Hugh Jackman was terrible but I know it's not his fault, it's the director's fault. A C class robot movie thanks to terrible performances and bad plot !!!
