Great movie excellent choice of actors and here we have Ryan doing what he does best talk and act this is really a great movie...we have a guy that controls verything with index cards because he writes everything down but not even his cards could save him from the chaos that life really is and what living really means and what love brings to the equation!! see it for yourself and tell me the answer!!!
An obsessive organizer, Frank is a devoted husband, loving father, celebrated author--and a man who is consumed with making lists. There's a daily list for just about everything--ferry schedules, dead...( read more )lines, dry cleaning--every detail of his life meticulously mapped out to keep life on track. His beautiful wife, Susan, and his 7-year-old daughter Jesse, find his obsessiveness charming, if not a little frustrating at times. After a misunderstanding with his wife reveals new truths about his family and best friend Buddy, Frank throws caution to the wind and embarks on living life by chance.
At his daughter's wedding, time-management specialist Frank Allen corners the reluctant groom and tells him a long story: about the night his wife chose him, and then, about eight years later, when a missed ferry, a corporate groupie, a panicked expectant mother, and a medical test brought Frank's marriage to a crisis. In the midst of the crisis were Frank, his wife Susan, their daughter Emily, and Frank's best friend, the feckless Buddy. Things come to a head at a lake when Frank, armed with a shotgun, decides to cross something permanently from one of his time-management lists. Is there ever room for whim and chaos?
