Review of Chaos Theory (2008) by Adam E — 23 Sep 2011
SUMMING IT UP:
Utterly confused, this tale of life affirmation has no idea what on earth it wants to be. Is it supposed to be a comedy? Is it supposed to be a tragedy? A lot of the problems stem from its screenplay and despite the valiant efforts of its cast - Reynolds is maturing as an actor when you connect this to Buried - it cannot surmount the holes created by the jumping around in tone. It's watchable and, for part of its running time, interesting, however, its lack of conviction lets it down considerably.
