Review of Changeling (2008) by András P — 03 Oct 2010
Angelina looks totally different, so is her acting, realy adapted. The setting is great overall and there's a lot of work put into the revival of the 50's.
The story itself is grand too ofcourse, you realy feel her dissapointment after all that time and also what she tries to do to justify the acts of the policedepartment.
This is also a great element, the fact that the department tries to raise their faul image by this set up! It tends to get boring when the trials begin but the scenes.
are rather short and her media-attention fills in nicely. the grief, sorrow and revealance afterwards are even more so complementairy to the first part of the movie.
You might call it a revival where it not that the movie never fails to keep your attention. It's a very sad and dissapointing story an this is so well presented!
Great performances, great cinematography, great movie!
