Review of Chalk (2001) by Nick K — 24 Dec 2008
A fake documentary based around the statistic "50% of teachers quit after the first 3 years of teaching". Over all the film was mildly entertaining at the end but the beginning was fairly boring.
It didn't commit to the idea of being a documentary as it constantly flipped back and forth between the actors being aware of the camera and not being aware. It felt this was everyone's first time working on a film.
A lot of over the top acting, poor sound and cinematography. I would recommend skipping this one.
