Review of Chained Heat (1983) by Doctor S — 07 Aug 2011

I love this WIP flix. I have since I first saw it some 25 years ago. It's the best of its genre truly catering to the 42nd Grindhouse crowd. A great cast including Linda Blair, John Vernon, Sybil Danning (that chalk faced whore), Tamara Dobson, & Henry Silva are all slumming it up & doing nothing for their careers.

Then there's that boom mic that constantly drops into frame that deserves special guest appearance in the end credits. There are dozen of films of this type but there are none that mix so many genres so satisfyingly & are so much fun.

Filled w/ fantastic gutter dialogue that you'll be quoting for years to come. A bona fide cult classic that any self respecting exploitation lover should see @ least a half a dozen times.
