Review of Certified Copy (2010) by Ian F — 25 Jan 2012
I love Juliette Binoche and that was kind of the only reason I saw this movie. It began dull but still, I wanted to give it a chance. Then it became what I thought would be some lame road trip let's talk about life film.
It wasn't but what it was was so much worse! Traipsing around Italy, seemingly both knowing and not knowing each other, eventually you don't care and simply become annoyed as these two slip in and out of English, French and Italian fluidly as well as conciousnesses (or so it seemed).
The hour and forty-five minutes feels like an uncomfortable eternity and by the end, it's of no matter what it was you just sat through, whatever it is (I still don't know)!
