Review of Certain Women (2016) by Ezgi E — 22 Jan 2017
The movie needs a proper beginning and end. A connection between these characters is not shown clearly. The pace needs to be faster and the cinematography is very poor.
However, I enjoyed everyone's acting and dialogue delivery. The characters are relatable in their actions, but I somehow could not find any connection to Michelle William's character. Her plotline seems kind of unnecessary and uninteresting. Laura Dern is both funny and dramatic. The end of the movie with the scenes between Kristen Stewart and Lily Gladstone stand as the core of the movie. Excellent and authentic acting from both.
