Review of Ceremony (2010) by Richard B — 07 Jul 2011
I wasn't sure for what to expect with this movie; the trailer didn't really hook me, but I thought I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did. This quirky little film is actually very sweet, funny, and sincere.
It definitely has a Royal Tenebums/Rushmore feel to it and I'm totally ok with that, especially since the run one quirky films has slowed down and this one is solid. The acting is very good and I like Michael Angarano in this (even though I hated Gentlemae Broncos).
The music in this is very solid as well and adds to the film. Overall I really enjoyed this sweet quirky film and think it is worth a watch if you like quirky independent comedies.
