Review of Ceremony (2010) by Sarah . — 01 Oct 2011
The charcters & actors were the best part about this movie. Truly, Michael Angarano was hilarious and a very unique character. Uma Thurman was sweet and honest. Reece Daniel was so genuine and adorable. And Lee Pace had a very convincing English accent and also made me laugh quite a bit (and on a side note, he looked quite fine as well). These characters were what made this a decent movie for me. They were interesting and entertaining. I laughed out loud a few times, and on a whole mostly enjoyed myself.
However, I think that the story was lacking a little. I just didn't get attached the the more sentimental/sad elements. I just watched and went through the motions, laughing occasionally, but not really caring.
It's not a waste to watch, but it's easliy forgettable.
What did this movie teach me? English Lee Pace looks and sounds a lot like Harry Flynn.
