Review of Centurion (2010) by Wayne C — 23 Dec 2010
I know from my Scottish history that the tribe known as the Picts were fierce warriors, that the armies of Rome were unable to conquer. This lead to the construction of Hadrian's Wall in the north of England.
This film reminded me of Braveheart, and Gladiator, since the depictions of violence are quite explicit.
The narrative flow is at first, a little confusing, so attention needs to paid so that the film can be followed.
