Review of Centurion (2010) by Mattias W — 01 Jan 2011
The most interesting aspect of this movie is the design of the opening credits, with 3D animations of the names of the actors and film crew floating in a breathtakingly beautiful Scottish landscape. The rest of the movie is blend like slightly over-boiled and poorly seasoned pasta.
It borrows shamelessly from "Gladiator", "Lord of the Rings" and "300" but fails to created an integrated whole. The script - and so the bearing themes of the film - should have been elaborated more upon to say the least.
