It's not going to win many awards, it's grim, gory and unforgiving, but that doesn't make this a bad ride. It's a fairly superficial plot but it's only partly about what happens - it's more about capturing the Zeitgeist and that it doe very well with excellent wintery landscapes, hard men and a few hard women, with no quarter given in a savage scenario of invasion and desperation.
Worth a look.
