Hmmm...Im unimpressed. This feels like a made-for-TV film, with a bad script. There's simply too much use of more modern language for me, and the story (its basically a chase movie, with poor performances) is really not there.
All films about Rome, or Romans, seem to end up being set in Britain, and they've all been pretty darned poor. This is no exception.
If you need to watch a hack-and-slash historical movie, and have seen everything else, then watch this. Otherwise avoid.
