Review of Centurion (2010) by Brenton A — 30 Jun 2011
A good, but not great time piece of the Roman conquest of Britain. There is a lot of senseless hacking and slashing and a real lack of depth and originality as far as the script goes. All things considered, the cast did quite well with what they had to work with, especially Michael Fassbender (who played Magneto in the recent X-Men: First Class).
Even with it's shortcomings, it's a good B Action movie that I found rather enjoyable. Worth your time.
