Review of Centurion (2010) by Charles-Hugo T — 09 Jul 2011
This was a bit disappointing considering I expect a bit more out of a Neil Marshall film, but it was still interesting.
My biggest problem was the overuse of computerized blood every time someone got cut, dismembered or ass kicked. It takes away from the enjoyment of the film when it is so noticeably fake.
Michael Fassbender and Olga Kurylenko were good in their roles and a decent supporting cast like Imogen Poots, Liam Cunningham, Ulrich Thomsen and Dominic West.
Though slow at times I didn't lose interest and found the story fairly interesting.
