Beautiful Scottish Highland scenery cannot atone for this ridiculously gory slashfest built around the historic disappearance of the 9th Legion (which gets about five minutes of screen time). Watched it in the hopes of gleaning some Roman Britain nuggets, but this pan comes up empty.
Formulaic chases over hills, dales and forest, scores of rolling heads. Pass on it.
