Review of Centurion (2010) by Lily L — 07 Jul 2012
Definitely my kind of film and another to add to Neil Marshall's fairly impressive list. To begin with I struggled to work out what the hell was going on, but that was countered with some good, fast paced battle scenes.
I say battle scenes, but they were more like unorganised pub brawl's with swords, very un-Roman like. Once a plot is established (a simple cat and mouse chase through the countryside) it's a lot of fun, little bit cliched, but still fun.
Olga Kurylenko was also one scary hunter, it's always the quiet ones you've gotta look out for.
