Review of Centurion (2010) by Jonny C — 14 Nov 2010
Decent swords and sandals tale of a Roman Legion getting there asses kicked by an army of crazy natives in 2nd century Britain. The performances were all solid, the cinematography made good use of the stunning scenery, and the action scenes were both authentic and exciting.
But it lacked a strong story and character development, and it felt like an ancient version of Behind Enemy Lines. Verdict, worth a rental.
