Review of Center Stage (2000) by S P — 24 Feb 2008
For fans of romantic dance movies, this one is probably a real worthwhile watch. I am not one of them. The view of dancing's ugly side was mildly interesting. However, a lot of moments are thrown off by weird acting choices.
That and a few of the main characters are frustratingly unlikable, making it annoying to see them portrayed as the "good guys". A teen angst ballet movie... make of it what you will.
