Review of Cemetery Man (1994) by Keith C — 07 Feb 2008
Weirdest movie I've EVER seen. I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan on picking up the DVD sometime, but at the same time it's an incredibly hard movie to reccomend to people because it's such a weird blend of everything.
You have artsy cinematography and some (at times pretentious) existentialist themes, and you have lots of Evil Dead 2 style zombie fight scenes, some Tarantinoesque displays of violence/dialogue, and some humour about necrophilia.
It's bound to get a negative reaction from you in parts, but at the same time I can pretty much guarantee you'll never be bored. If you want to get as far away from the mainstream as possible, this is definately the way to go.
