An interesting, different kind of zombie movie. In fact, it's more than a zombie movie; it's all about love and death, hence the original Italian title of this film Dellamorte Dellamore (Death and Love).
Would've been better if it made more sense at parts and some questions are deemed answered by the end (examples of those I won't spoil for you), but this is a movie I believe you'll understand the more you see it thanks to the dark humor and atmosphere. You can't go wrong with Italian horror flicks.
