Review of Cemetery Man (1994) by Steve B — 08 Jul 2011
I love the Italians, their westerns are better, they drop a fantastic set of tits into their films and their horrors are psychedelic and surreal. Cemetery Man is a top notch zombie movie that never puts too much emphasis on any one area allowing it to mingle and shift between horror, humour, mystery and mayhem. It's as if Dario Argento and Sam Raimi had a love child. The sets are awesome, the performances great, the cinematography is a level above most zombie movies and the zombies are everything you want zombies to be.
Jerks disliking it for the ending should have known by the second incarnation of the megababe credited as "She" that there is more to this movie than a guy who tends to a graveyard and kills a zombie every 10 minutes. and who doesn't love a movie that sends you away the first time thinking "What the fuck does that ending mean... I NEED to see this again.".
On par with Evil Dead II for fun with zombies, sequel apparently on the way, a must see for anyone with a zombie section in their movie collection.
