Cemetry Junction is a classic example of the Gervais/Merchant brand of humour. What they seem to do so well is extract the drama and comedy from all aspects of modern society. The main actors of relative unknowns give excellent performances even if they are Hollywood friendly.
It's unfortunate that to do a film you actually want to make you have to be a multi millionaire, that's Hollywood for you.
