As always, fantastically astute writing from Gervais & Merchant. There is some pure comedy in this film but not in the obvious way that fans of The Office and Extras might be looking for it. Their talent for creating characters that are so real it almost hurts to watch them is unmatched.
Great performances from the young unknown leads and a satisfyingly thought-provoking film.
