Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Ethan T — 14 May 2010
A film that stinks of a lack of experience. I firmly believe that Gervais could be the next woody Allen, but you will see no evidence of that here. This film aims to be an original and powerful drama, but intact comes off as a rather generic Rom com.
This is unfortunate, but I do have faith in Gervais, and I hope this is just a stumbling block, as opposed to a sign of things to come.
