A walk on the more serious side for Gervais & Merchant and it has its endearing moments but nothing so unique that I felt wowed by this film. A solid effort from the writing duo but it was not fresh feeling in any way at all.
It will be interesting to see if they delve further into more non comedic genres for future projects.
