Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Scot C — 05 Oct 2010
"Freddie, stop listening to music made by poofs. Stick on some Elton John.".
This film is so smartly written, and a lot of the dialogue is hilarious. Set in the 70's, this movie definitely had the same feel as the film Flasbacks Of A Fool, but of course more humorous. The music that is played throughout is superb, as classic 70's music as you'll get. The performances are really good, and comedy timing all round is great. Ricky Gervais makes an apperance as himself as usual, but is always still appealing and funny. This movie is very well paced, and flows between each scene smoothly. It's very colourful, which sets the tone of that era. It's a very good comedy, entertaining, and British! Need I say more!
