Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Lee W — 19 Apr 2010

I can take or leave RG, hence I went into this with an open mind, and was happily surprised. A gem of a movie, a serious subject but given such excellent throaway funny lines that the laughter comes as easily as the drama.

Brilliantly amalgamated cast, with excellent performances from all, it would be unfair to single anyone out. This is one of those movies that actually gives you a feel for its era and subject matter, I found it very easy to bond with the central themes and the desperation of the 3 boys all looking for their own path in life.

Excellent movie.
