Blatently set on Ricky's own teenage issues, the film isn't really anything original. The characters are fairly dull and the fat comic relief is bordering on clichéd. I am a massive fan of gervais/merchant but this somehow lacks their realism and comedy of awkwardness.
Ok but nothing special.
