Review of Cellular (2004) by Daniel A — 26 Jul 2011
It's ridiculous and often implausible but Cellular runs at such high speed with so much gusto that no one can deny its impressive entertainment factor. Don't watch it for the story and definitely not for the acting (Kim Basinger is horrendous) but instead enjoy Cellular's 100-mile an hour thrills and hammy premise.
Chris Evans' good-looks cancel out his poor performance, while Jason Statham and William H. Macy play off the material well. A worthwhile guilty pleasure.
