I thought this was a remake of the 'Signal'. That movie was bad ass. This one... not so much.
The beginning scene (which most of the trailer was pulled from) was pretty amazing. But after that it just goes down hill. The Cell had a lot of potential, but the movie just trailed off. You didn't really know where it was going, and then you realized it wasn't going much of anywhere. Even the horror factor, after the first scene the creatures just seemed lame.
