Review of Cavemen (2013) by Adrian D — 12 Feb 2014
Some people say about this movie, that it's predictable, cliche, seen it before. Now take a step back and think about it: how many times when you asked your friends "And how did you 2 meet?" you heard a story that blew your mind? Or you were more like...ummm, same old story, nothing extraordinary, really, what's so interesting here?
That's right people, in real life extraordinary things just don't happen. Things are astonishingly simple and straight forward...yet love seems so complicated. And this is exactly what CAVEMEN is: a true, bare naked depiction of real life love, real life friendships, real life "adventures".
I recommend this movie to anyone who's ever been single, grew up not only in LA but any other city with a night life, anyone who had a couple of more or less crazy friends. I bet you will recognize yourself in one of these characters!
I gave the movie thumbs up for being a true depiction of real life and not just another super-sized Hollywood story.
