Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Jacob O — 02 Apr 2011
Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a visually fascinating film. The director, Werner Herzog, gives us exclusive access with his 3D camera inside the Chauvet caves of Southern France, capturing the oldest known cave paintings of humankind.
This is a wonderful opportunity to sees some of the most exciting, beautiful pictorial creations of the yesteryear. It's an incredibly emotional documentary and Herzog's narration is wonderfully vivid and humorous.
Even for those not interested on the subject, it's a valuable piece of entertainment.
