(2010) Cave Of Forgotten Dreams.
DOCUMENTARY.
A friend of mine once told me that 'art in general is only worth something unless that artist is dead' as is shown on here are a couple simplistic drawings of some once living mammals suspected to be prehistoric more than 30,000 years are deemed to be any archeologists dream come true. Focuses a great percentage of the film on a cave located in France called the Chauvet Cave assumed to consist to have some of the oldest artifacts except that many of the art pictures look too simplistic and boring. Although, director Werner Herzog received funding from the French gov't to make a documentary, many of it's paintings look very boring especially if the doc doesn't tell viewers what part of the cave some of those were drawn.
3 out of 4 stars.
