The cave art is stunning and it is probably worth putting up with Herzog's at times laughable narrative just to see the drawings. Really, really wish they had let a different director into the caves as they deserve far better treatment than they got in this film.
In every way other than the extraordinary subject matter, this film is clumsy, artless and a test of the audience's generosity.
