Review of Cats Don't Dance (1997) by Keenan S — 12 Jan 2013
Cats Don't Dance is an underrated animated film that has some minor flaws. It's a strange parody of classic musicals while also telling a familiar story about trying to achieve fame in Hollywood.
However, while it may same cliched, the film is rather bombastic and energetic in its presentation and execution. It's a fun film with catchy musical numbers, funny humor, and a colorful cast of characters.
However, this film is much too short (75 minutes only? Couldn't it be longer?), and I was also left wishing for a more fleshed out storyline. Despite such flaws, this is still a very entertaining film that was really fun to watch.
If you are a fan of animated films, you should check it out.
